Kalian Tahu Michael Crichton..? Hmm.. banyak pasti yang gak tau, tapi bagi mania Jurrasic Park mungkin pernah denger nama Crichton. Dia juga yang menciptakan cerita serial TV yang pernah sangat laris: Emergency Room.

Drama medis yang berkutat sekitar hidup dan mati pasien di Unit Gawat Darurat Rumah Sakit Chicago. Setiap episodenya menceritakan tentang keseharian di ruang Emergency Room, mulai dari ketegangan menangani pasien yang kritis hingga ke kehidupan sehari-hari para dokter dan para perawat yang dapat membuat sang penonton merasa senang atau bahkan bersedih karena hatinya ikut tersayat pisau bedah sang maestro. Alur cerita yang cepat, dan terkadang maju mundur mengajak penonton untuk ikut berpikir, karena memang film serial ini bukan serial kelas es cendol biasa.

Michael Crichton termasuk penulis yang cerdas karena mampu menciptakan serial yang tidaklah hanya sekedar film dokter-dokteran kacangan, beliau dapat menceritakan dengan akurat segala perihal medis dan lingkungan serta kondisi emosional didalam unit gawat darurat.

Waah kalo mau diterusin resensinya bakalan panjang lebar gak karuan, mending simak aja deh… Pasti ketagihan, karena diputar dibeberapa negara aja, banyak kok yang ketagihan.
